Spelling Counts

OR DOES IT?

Was reading a couple of short stories over at Gaydemon, in their story section and the funny thing, is how so many authors spell the word ‘CUM’ (meaning semen.) Most seem to be spelling the word as “COME” which really seems rather odd. It just doesn’t refer to ejaculate (the more technical term) and yet so many seem to use it for that meaning.

Maybe I am being anal about this, but really, words do matter. It kind of says that one doesn’t care about their work. Why I guess there are so many made up words these days, usually in every damn piece of spam I get, someone is trying to be smart, using meaningless words to get me to buy into their crap.

Kind of like our Politicians & Their Bullshit Excuses.

It is easy you know, to spell check these days. What program doesn’t have some form of spell checkng, but you have to have some idea of what the word should be spelled like. Guess that is too much to ask, these days.  And really CUM is such a beautiful object of desire, I hate having it ruined by someone’s misspelling of it.
