Gay or Homosexual?

Okay here is the big question, which are you?

Are you Gay?

Or Are you a Homosexual?

Sounds stupid doesn’t it, because they both supposedly mean the same thing. So ask yourself, is Malcom here, from HM Boys, Gay or Homosexual?

Why am I asking? Seems that down south in the United States of America it matter a great deal on whether you call yourself Gay or Homosexual. If the latter, well, they aren’t very supportive, but hey, if you are Gay they seem more willing to accept your lifestyle.

Based on a CBS/New York Times poll, Americans opposing Homosexuals serving in the Military is 42%, while only 28% oppose you if you are Gay.  Seriously, I kid you not. [source]

Kind of makes you wonder what is the blasted difference between Gay & Homosexual, that has Americans feeling so different about what is basically, the same definition?

Myself, I think it simply comes down to the fact, that ‘homosexual‘ has the word ‘SEX‘ in it, and for some reason, that petrifies our American Cousins. As much as they do love it, as they are the biggest porn watchers, yet in politics, they are anal about much they oppose it.    GO FIGURE!
